Plot summary
The Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, born in Madeira in 1985, opens his life to a camera for fourteen months. The filming moves between his birthplace and Madrid, where he lives and plays for Real Madrid, and records his way of thinking through in-depth conversations with him. His mother Dolores Aveiro, his brother Hugo, his sisters Elma and Cátia and his son Cristiano Jr. take part, along with friends and teammates. Football footage and archival material trace a career that began with Sporting CP and brought him three Ballon d'Or awards. Parts of the film watch his day-to-day life with the people around him.
