Plot summary

Alex has served time and now works as muscle at a brothel in Vienna. There he is with Tamara, a Ukrainian woman who works in the same place. Anxious and clinging, Tamara comes along on the robbery. In the same corner of the countryside, Robert works as a police officer. His wife, Susanne, cannot conceive a child, and the marriage is strained. Robert and Susanne are neighbors of Hausner, and Susanne is a close friend of the old man.
