Plot summary
Recep İvedik is at home in front of the television when a postman brings him a surprise invitation to Konya province's yearly dried beans festival. Delighted by the news, he talks his best friend Nurullah into making the trip with him. The travel agency books the pair onto a flight to Kenya, in Africa, rather than to Konya. In Kenya they join a safari with their tour guide Ersin, and the outing leaves them lost in the open savannah, in the middle of two local tribes at odds with each other. Recep wants to get home and keeps trying ways to manage it.
