Recep Ivedik 5 (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Recep Ivedik goes to the funeral of Ismet and sees the family the man has left behind. Ismet never finished a job he had taken on, and without the money it would have brought, his relatives are looking at hard times. Recep offers to see the work through himself and steps in as the driver of a bus full of athletes. He and his friend Nurullah think the drive will be short. They learn that the young national team has to be delivered to a sports event in Skopje, North Macedonia, which turns the errand into a long journey. Trouble on the road leaves the group in a crisis, and Recep, who accepts nothing but winning, seizes control and applies methods of his own to get the athletes through.
