Plot summary

Recep Ivedik has no job. A police officer scolds him for harassment and then lets him go. Walking home, he picks up a wallet that belongs to Muhsin Basaran, a hotel owner, and afterward sees the same man on television. Recep decides to travel south and give the wallet back himself. On the road he helps young girls whose car battery has died, joins dance circles, and when his own car quits he rides with members of an eccentric rock band. A truck driver offers him a lift, and Recep leaves the cab after the driver makes advances toward him. At the hotel he hands the wallet to Basaran and declines a free stay. Then he notices Sibel, a childhood love, getting off a tour bus, and he asks to stay longer.
