Plot summary
In Wichita, Kansas, David has earned a football scholarship and will soon leave for a college in Oklahoma. His friends plan a farewell party at his house for that evening, while his parents are away: D.B., Russell, Joni, Lisa, Frannie, Doug, Chris, Brenda, Mason and Chuck. Joni is a new classmate meeting the others for the first time. Two convicts, Runner and Snake, have broken out of prison and are hiding from the authorities; they slip into the house and stay in the cellar. Upstairs the party carries on, and none of the guests knows the two men are there.
