Plot summary
A teenager from the United States lives in Southeast Asia with her uncle and attends school there. After a bully targets her, she fights back, and the violent encounter sends her to a women's correctional facility instead of an ordinary reform school. The place runs more like a prison than a school. Predatory guards patrol it, and menacing gangs hold sway among the inmates. To have any chance of surviving, she has to learn to fight and to protect herself while she is locked up inside.
