Laddaland (2011) on Netflix

Plot summary

Thee, a struggling marketing officer, moves his wife Pan, teenage daughter Nan and young son Nat from Bangkok to a new housing estate in Chiang Mai called Laddaland. He is sure the move will solve his dietary supplement company's money problems; Pan worries about the mortgage. Nan, who was born out of wedlock and raised by Pan's mother, resents her parents and wants to go back to her grandmother, and Thee tries to mend their relationship. The estate looks quiet, but it seems to set its households against one another: a Burmese housemaid is found murdered and next-door neighbor Somkiat mistreats his wife and son. Nan meets things she cannot explain, and Thee refuses to believe her.
