Plot summary
Singing is the only way Luca's voice carries after the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011, when her family was lost. When she speaks, nothing comes out above a whisper, and listeners are moved by her songs. She performs under the name Kyrie, has no home, and earns what she can from passersby on the street. Four characters move through thirteen years of the story. Ikko, a friend from her childhood, returns and becomes her manager.
