Plot summary
Harinder Singh Nehra, known as Harry, left his village of Nurmahal in Punjab for Canada to become a singer and ended up in Europe working as a tour guide. He is charming and cynical, keeps his loneliness and homesickness to himself, and fills his days with flirtations and work. Sejal Zaveri, a lively Gujarati lawyer, loses her engagement ring during a European vacation with her family and, when the trip ends, stays behind to retrace her steps. She asks Harry to help her, though he treats her as an inconvenience. The two travel to cities including Amsterdam, Prague, and Budapest, and their opposite temperaments produce both comic clashes and quieter moments as the search continues.
