Plot summary
Carlo is 25 and a carouser. Drunk and on cocaine, he crashes his car, and a court sentences him to a year of community service. He serves it at the Villa Bianca nursing home, which also houses other non-violent offenders, and he treats the arrangement as a nuisance. Among the residents is Dino, a cultured and sarcastic man of eighty who has tried to take his own life more than once.
