Plot summary
Four years have passed since Jeff died on a nighttime ski run after his lover jilted him. Trina, her partner Cory, John and Diane, Eddie and Jeanette, and Carl are now called to Snow Peak, a newly renovated resort, for an exclusive party on New Year's Eve. Trina still carries guilt over Jeff, and Carl is troubled by nightmares of him. Alex Bourne, the developer who arranged the invitations, comes to their chalet to greet them, and hearing Jeff's name he says Jeff was on his guest list and had accepted. Jeanette, whose partner Eddie has not arrived, answers a call from someone imitating Eddie, claiming to be with Jeff now.
