Plot summary
Vera Skariba, a former flight attendant, is married to Stelios, president of the Black Panthers, a small-medium football team in the Big Division. Her life is a quiet one, given to raising the couple's two children, and it holds that way until an extramarital adventure of Stelios comes to a fatal end. Vera becomes a young widow, and the inheritance she is to receive carries a condition: she has to take the presidency of the club herself and keep the Black Panthers in the first division.
