Plot summary
Juan Pablo, a writer, is set to move to Barcelona with his girlfriend Valentina; a PhD scholarship awaits him there. Before they leave Mexico, he falls in with a dangerous web of criminals, and a drug cartel gives him a mission to carry out in Catalonia. The assignment runs alongside the novel he is working on, and his life takes a dark turn.
