Plot summary
Nick, Dale and Kurt build a shower head modeled on a car wash and call it the Shower Buddy. Bert Hanson and his son Rex offer backing if the trio can turn out 100,000 units, so they take out a bank loan, fit out a warehouse, hire staff and make the quota. Bert then backs out, having signed nothing, and lays out his scheme: when the loan goes unpaid and the bank forecloses, he will buy their inventory cheaply and sell the shower heads under his own name. Nick's former boss Dave Harken, in prison, tells them no legal route exists to recover their losses. They resolve to kidnap Rex for ransom, and Dean "MF" Jones, asked to help, suggests keeping the captive unconscious.
