Plot summary
Ivan Herasymov is a screenwriter with a wish to love one real and unique woman, and that wish paints different images in his mind: a romantic young lady, a prostitute, a woman in a veil, and his wife. He meets these women from time to time and stops understanding which of them is real and which is only his imagination. Looking for answers, he reaches Gendelyk, a cafe at a railway station, where a chance meeting with the Bartender and a man called Sputnik brings back emotional memories from his life: a first love, funny oddities, unbearable suffering and moments of incredible happiness.
