- Friend Zone began as homework: Chayanop Boonprakob, then training as a screenwriter at GDH, submitted his own real-life friend-zone story to producer Jira Maligool, who liked it and asked him to turn it into a film.
- On 27 August 2018 GDH 559 live-streamed on Facebook a video styled as a hidden-camera recording from its own meeting room, titled "ดพรำก ผนื", which revealed Naphat Siangsomboon and Pimchanok Luevisadpaibul as the leads before executives pretended to notice the live feed and shut it off.
