Plot summary
Pepe the Frog is a character Matt Furie created for Boy's Club, a comic he first posted on MySpace. Pepe lives with three other friends in their twenties who have finished college and share a house. In one installment a housemate catches Pepe urinating with his pants around his ankles, and Pepe replies, Feels good man. The drawing spreads across the internet as a meme, and the alt-right takes the image for itself, turning the cartoon frog into a symbol of hate. Furie sets out to recover Pepe.
