Dracula in the Provinces (1975) on Netflix

Plot summary

Costante Nicosia married for wealth and has inherited a toothpaste factory, and he runs a basketball team as well. He is rude to his employees and deeply superstitious. A black cat crosses his path, then he breaks a mirror at home, and superstition says a virgin must urinate on the glass to stop the bad luck; he mistakes an elderly spinster neighbor for one. Family pressure gets his idle brother-in-law a menial factory job, and Nicosia dismisses him the next day for sleeping on duty. At a family gathering that evening his in-laws push him to take the man back, and he insults Great Aunt Maria, who puts a curse on him and refuses to remove it. On a flight to Bucharest for a business conference, a passenger who calls himself Count Dragalescu invites him to his castle.
