Plot summary
Arash is a hard-working young Iranian man who lives in Bad City and cares for his father, Hossein, whose heroin habit has left him in debt. Saeed, the town's drug-dealing pimp, seizes Arash's prized car in exchange for the money the father owes. Arash gardens for Shaydah, a wealthy young woman, and steals a pair of her diamond earrings, intending to trade them for his car. Through the same streets moves a girl in a chador, who spends her nights alone with music in her apartment and on a skateboard, and the townspeople do not know that a lonesome vampire stalks them.
