Zapped (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Zoey Stevens is sixteen, a skilled dancer and a straight-A student, and her widowed mother has just remarried. She moves in with her new stepfather, Ted, and his three sons: Adam, the basketball team captain who is always in a hurry; Zach, who makes disgusting food creations; and Ben, who is constantly dirty. Her first day at the new high school goes badly, and she finds the dance squad she joins to be clumsy. Zoey gets an app whose original purpose was to train the family dog. After the phone lands in dog food and then slides down solar panels, the app starts controlling the men and boys around her instead. She finds it strange at first, then decides to use it to her advantage.
