Plot summary
Nate Adams has his Yo-kai Watch taken one night by Kin and Gin, Yo-kai who serve Dame Dedtime and want to stop humans and Yo-kai from ever becoming friends. The giant cat Yo-kai Meganyan appears and tells Nate that Yo-kai are real. Nate, Whisper and Jibanyan go to see his grandmother, Lucy Loo Adams, and chase a shadow without catching it. When Meganyan returns and asks for the cork that holds his energy in to be pulled out, the others refuse, so Nate pulls it himself and pink smoke covers them all. Hovernyan, a flyer cat Yo-kai, then uses a time stone to carry Nate, Whisper and Jibanyan 60 years back, to the years when Nate's grandfather Nathaniel Adams is a boy and the watch has yet to be invented.
