Plot summary
Gani is a simple and quiet student in Bandung who holds that true love comes only once in a lifetime. Hanna is a brave woman who stands by her principles; she grew up under restrictions and wants to break free of the pressure and choose her own direction. The two are close friends, and their bond has to be split when Hanna uproots her life. Over the years Gani has kept his deep feelings for her to himself, never saying them aloud; they go into the pages of his diary. His love and loyalty live on in his memories of Hanna.
