Plot summary
Kinan is divorced from Aris and has built a new routine for herself as a doctor and as the parent raising their daughter, Raya, and the two of them live in a settled household. Aris comes by with Lydia, the woman he has kept as his mistress. Lydia wants more than the place she has held: she wants to marry him and to be the one at the center of his heart. Before he agrees to that, Aris asks Kinan what she thinks, because he still hopes to keep both women in his life at once. Kinan, for her part, wants Aris and Lydia to leave her alone.
