The Tiger Brigades (2006) on Netflix

Plot summary

France's first motorized police unit is the work of Georges Clémenceau, who wants a force able to answer a wave of violent crime. It is named the Tiger Brigades after his own nickname. At the head is chief inspector Paul Valentin, with Marcel Terrasson, Pujol and the trainee Achille Bianchi serving under him. Their assignment is the Bonnot Gang, the anarchists led by Jules Bonnot. Among the anarchists is Constance, a princess married to a Russian prince, and Piotr. The squad is among the earliest police units to use cars, telephones and telegraphs, and its men train in French boxing and in canne de combat. Louis Lépine, who heads the Paris police prefecture, sees the newcomers as rivals.
