Plot summary
Christian Davis is nine years old. His father takes him, the family dog and two of Christian's friends backpacking in the mountains of Colorado, and lightning strikes all five of them. The Davis family is struggling. A stray dog that belongs to no one comes out of nowhere and becomes part of the family's life, and his name is Pluto. Michelle Davis is a member of the Davis family.
