Plot summary
Alex Gardner is a college student who can no longer separate his dreams from his waking hours. Night after night he lives through the deaths of people killed on Alcatraz Island before it became a prison, victims of a killer who lived there. His friends see him hovering above his bed, and his teacher, an occultist, tells him the only way to end it is to go to the island and face the ghost. Alex crosses to Alcatraz with his brother Richard and their friends, and the group is stranded there. Sammy Mitchell, a singer for the band Bodybag, was killed on that ground.
