Tsubasa Honda

Tsubasa Honda is a model and actress who entered the entertainment industry after seven people scouted her on one day in 2006. That year she debuted as an exclusive model for Seventeen, moved to Love Berry as an exclusive model in 2007, and began modeling exclusively for Non-no in January 2010. An August 2011 appearance on Akashiya Sanma's TBS program I've Always Liked You led to a large increase in her television appearances. Her film debut came in November 2012, when she starred in Fashion Story -Model-. Her next feature, The Rakugo Movie (2013), became her best-selling theatrical film; she played a young woman who dreams of writing novels and meets a man who can foresee fortunes, with Takayuki Yamada as The Man. Oricon ranked the film's DVD as a number one bestseller in Japan, and it was the first of her films screened in Hollywood at Grauman's Egyptian Theatre. She also took acting roles in television and film.
