Sarah-Jane Potts

Sarah-Jane Potts is an English actress from Bradford, West Yorkshire. She became known for television parts, among them Saint in Sugar Rush, Ellie in Casualty, and Jo Lipsett in Waterloo Road. In Casualty, her character Ellie was the on-and-off girlfriend of Abs. From 2011 to 2012 she played Senior Nurse Eddi McKee on AAU in Holby City, a different role from her Casualty character. Her Holby City character departed in the second episode of series 15. The production team kept her departure secret and the media did not report it, so her character's exit came as a shock. Early in her career, she said that during her first three years of acting she often looked dirty, scruffy, ill, or tarty. In 2023, she made an appearance at the East London LGBTQ+ Film Festival, where she gave a virtual introduction to Kinky Boots (2005).
