Pierre Kiwitt
Biography
Pierre Kiwitt is a French-born German actor who first worked in banking, where an agent discovered him while he was behind the till, prompting him to take up acting. He took acting classes and soon won his first screen and stage roles. A chance casting made him one of the leads in a Brazilian telenovela, and although he began without any Portuguese, he learned the language fast and found sudden popularity as a heartthrob in Latin America. Back in Europe, he went on to appear in independent films such as Neben der Spur, popular television series including SOKO and Rosenheim Cops, and semi-documentary productions, among them a film in which he portrayed Berthold von Stauffenberg, the brother of the main figure.
