Nancy Kyes
Biography
Nancy Kyes, who has also acted as Nancy Loomis, is an American actress who worked several times with filmmaker John Carpenter. Born in Falls Church, she appeared for him as Julie in Assault on Precinct 13 (1976), a production where she also worked in the wardrobe department under the name Louise Kyes. She played Annie Brackett in Halloween (1978) and Sandy Fadel in The Fog (1980). She came back as Annie for Halloween II (1981), then took a different part in Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), which made her the only actor to figure in the first three Halloween entries. Her other screen work included a few television films and one guest spot on a 1985 Twilight Zone revival. After stepping away from acting, she sculpted in the Los Angeles area and taught theater at Cal Poly Pomona; she acted again in 2024 in Hauntology.
