Mark Kubr
Biography
Mark Kubr, raised by Czech parents in America, got his start in entertainment not long after finishing high school, when a neighbor who worked as an actress sent him to an agency in Los Angeles and he signed with the agent. He found work as a print model and commercial actor, appearing in advertising for Marlboro, Versace, Gucci and Ralph Lauren that took him around the world. He carried cameras on those trips, building a photography portfolio that was later published in Vogue, Cosmopolitain and Bride. A full athletic scholarship let him keep studying while he modeled and acted, and his athletic background made stuntwork a natural next step. He went on to work as Mickey Rourke's stunt double.
