From an early age, Laurence Hamelin demonstrated great interest in the performing arts which eventually led her to pursue an acting career. After years of working in various French-Canadian television series, Laurence got the part of Sofia in the feature film Moth Diaries, adapted and directed by Mary Harron from Rachel Klein's novel.
