Kip Niven
Biography
Kip Niven was an American actor who also directed for the theater. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, he grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas, and graduated from University of Kansas. In 1972 he appeared in the first episode of The Sixth Sense. He was one of four rogue police officers in Magnum Force (1973), which starred Clint Eastwood and also featured David Soul, Robert Urich, and Tim Matheson. Niven accumulated nearly 100 credits across film and television, and he had recurring roles on the series The Waltons, Alice, and Emergency!. Later he returned to the Kansas City area, where the local theater scene regarded him as a pillar. He died in 2019.
