John Beckett

John Beckett has over 30 years experience in the music and film industries. At the age of 19, he joined Adam and the Ants as guitarist (stage name Johnny Bivouac) with whom he recorded and toured extensively. After leaving The Ants, he set up his own studio facility to help develop his production and composition, while continuing to work live with various bands as a guitarist and, occasionally, keyboard player. John honed his composition and production skills by working on a myriad of corporate videos and advertising jingles before composing his first work for mainstream TV, the highly successful Carlton/ITV children's series 'The Spooks of Bottle Bay', which ran for three series. He has since worked on numerous film and TV projects as either composer, music producer, music supervisor and/or performer.
