Jamie Elman

Jamie Elman is a Canadian American actor who began in Montreal theater, appearing in productions of The Children's Hour and Annie Get Your Gun before taking early television and film roles in Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Johnny Mnemonic. He graduated from McGill University with a degree in English. He is best known for playing Cody Miller on Student Bodies and Luke Foley on American Dreams, and he appeared in the ensemble of Shattered Glass with Hayden Christensen and Peter Sarsgaard. Further credits include When Nietzsche Wept, in which he played a young Sigmund Freud, and California Dreaming, which took the Un Certain Regard prize at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. He also guest-starred on series such as Criminal Minds and The Closer, and with Eli Batalion he directs and acts in YidLife Crisis, a comedy sketch series in Yiddish.
