Netflix Movies Starring Jacob Derwig

Jacob Derwig is one of the most outstanding actors in The Netherlands. From 2005 until 2013 he performed for the renowned theatre group Toneelgroep Amsterdam, alongside director Ivo van Hove. Their productions travelled all over the world. After leaving the Toneelgroep Jacob shifted focus towards film and television. He played starring roles in Public Works (2015), The Dinner (2013), box-office hit Family Way (2012), and in the highly popular Dutch crime-series Penoza (2015), directed by Diederik van Rooijen. Currently Jacob stars in the brand new television-series Klem (2016), followed by a new Dutch feature Banker of the Resistance (2017). Throughout his career he played many leading roles in the theatre; from Hamlet to George in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, from Ivanov to Roy Cohn in Angels in America, already resulting in being nominated for several performances and winning five acclaimed theatre awards.
