Guy Deghy

Biography

Guy Deghy worked mostly in British film and television as a Hungarian-born actor and radio producer. Born in Budapest in 1912, he first worked as a producer for BBC Leeds. He later moved to London to act and write. On television, he played Inspector Oscar Kleinhaus in the fifth installment of the opening season of The Saint, and reprised that part in an episode of the fifth series; he also appeared in another episode and in a made-for-television film as different characters. In Danger Man, he was seen as a guard on a train in the 1960 episode The Traitor and as Vogel in the 1961 episode Name, Date and Place. He also acted on the London stage. Deghy died in London in 1992.
