Donavon Stinson

Biography

Donavon Stinson is an actor who built much of his early career in Vancouver, where he moved in 1997 to sharpen his acting skills. He grew up in a family that was forever joking around, and drama class as a student showed him what he wanted to do. A friend arranged an audition for the cartoon Heavy Gear, made by Mainframe Entertainment, a pioneer of motion capture, and the part was his. More animation and video game work followed, among them Spiderman, Max Steel and Barbie, until he was Vancouver's usual choice for motion capture, and he then moved into film and television. His first screen audition was for the Fox show Dark Angel, with Jessica Alba. Later came A Guy Thing with Julia Stiles, Fantastic Four and the X-Files film I Want To Believe, regular parts on Three Over Milford and Reaper, the role of Josh McTaggert on Call Me Fitz, and guest spots on Eureka and Psych.
