David Rees Snell

David Rees Snell is an American actor from Wichita, Kansas, who studied theater at the University of Kansas and performed mostly on stage before moving into television. He is known for his role as the detective Ronnie Gardocki on the FX crime drama The Shield, a part he landed as a non-speaking role after joining the cast at the last minute. The writers had no plans to develop the character, but he was made a permanent member of the Strike Team, appeared in nearly every episode, and became a full-time cast member once his screen time grew in the fifth season. He played Paul in The Beacon and Detective John Burrows in S.W.A.T., co-starred in the television movie Desolation Canyon, and guest starred on Numb3rs, Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds and Silicon Valley. He has also voiced characters in short films and video games, among them Need for Speed: Undercover and Call of Duty 2 Big Red One.
