Dagmar Biener
Biography
Dagmar Biener is an actress who was born and raised in Berlin, where she began performing as a child. She appeared in the film Stips at the age of three and trained in ballet at the Friedrichstadtpalast before studying drama with Else Bongers in Berlin. Her stage debut came in 1968 at the Renaissance-Theater, and she went on to be a regular presence on a variety of Berlin stages. From 1969 she worked in television and film, one of her early projects being a film adaptation of Ulrike Meinhof's play Bambule, directed by Eberhard von Itzenplitz. She later appeared in Loriot's Ödipussi (1988) and Pappa ante Portas (1991), and in 1999 she shot Club der Millionäre with Thorsten Näter. She played Erna Goltz in Nathalie Steinbart's Endstation Tanke in 2000 and, after Dominik Graf's Hotte im Paradies, became a frequent face in television series such as Soko Leipzig, Soko Wismar and Sabine.
