Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System - Case.1 Crime and Punishment (2019)

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.

  • Voice actor Kinryū Arimoto played Tomomi Masaoka in the Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System films, and it was his final performance before his death.
  • Akane Tsunemori, the lead of the earlier Psycho-Pass works, is absent from the trilogy, so director Naoyoshi Shiotani used her image instead to make a crossover collaboration with the 2018 film Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle.
  • Naoyoshi Shiotani came up with Sinners of the System after the 2015 film Psycho-Pass: The Movie, and the trilogy was created to fill the gap before Psycho-Pass 3 and acted as a production test case for that third television series.
  • All three films reuse music from the TV anime: the opening is a remix of Ling Tosite Sigure's "Abnormalize", the opening for episodes 1 to 11 of the first season, and the endings are remixes of songs by Egoist, with Masayuki Nakano handling the remixes.
