Plot summary
KRUD, Channel 17, is a UHF station that has run out of money. A slick television evangelist takes over the operation, and it comes back as KGOD, a Christian broadcaster. The religious format is a big success and the money follows, since the programming serves largely as an excuse to sell merchandise. Fringe ministries and broadcasters who want airtime crowd in, an incompatible mix for one station. The shows on the air include a faith healer, a preacher whose church is a drive-in, and a game show with Christian questions.
