Perfumes (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Guillaume Favre, a divorced father, drives for a living and needs a larger apartment so his daughter can stay with him. The agency hands him a new client: Anne Walberg, a celebrated perfumer who constructs and identifies scents and hires out her gift to companies. Anne is egotistical, tactless and hard on the drivers who work for her. Guillaume stands up to her, and she asks that he be her only driver. Her commissions carry the pair across France, to a recreated Paleolithic cave site in the south, where she captures scents, and to a manufacturer whose range of luxury handbags cannot go on sale because of an objectionable odor. Guillaume bargains for double her fee if she masks the smell within seven days.
