Let's Be Friends (2005) on Netflix

Plot summary

Claude Mendelbaum, a computer scientist and physicist of thirty, is shy, a hypochondriac and single, and his life has been dull since his only love story ended two years ago. At the wedding of his friend Daniel he gets to know Serge, a divorced man of fifty who goes from one adventure to the next. Daniel advises Claude to arrange a meeting with an agency of an unusual kind, one where the women contact the men. In its waiting room Claude finds Serge, who invites him for a drink at his home. Together the two look for the right woman in unusual places, among them a speed-dating group and weddings of people they do not know.
