Plot summary
Jamie Morgan works as a photographer in East London, where a heart-shaped birthmark covering much of his face has left him reclusive. He lives with his mother, Marion. At the studio his nephew Lee and his brother Ray work alongside him, and there he meets Tia, an aspiring model, and develops a crush on her. Gangs and a string of brutal unsolved murders trouble the neighborhood. Walking with Marion at his father's grave, Jamie is attacked; Marion is killed and he is beaten badly. In hospital he dreams of a man who says he is waiting for him, and a telephone call in that same voice leads him to Papa B, who offers to take the birthmark away in return for a favor.
