Plot summary
Laurie Strode survived Michael Myers's attack on Haddonfield, in which several of her friends and family were killed. Sheriff Lee Brackett, who found her wandering the town in shock, brought her into his home with his daughter Annie, another survivor, and a year later the three live together. Laurie deals with her trauma in therapy, and her relationship with Annie has frayed. Dr. Samuel Loomis, once Michael's psychiatrist, has turned the murders into a new book and tours to promote it. Members of the public criticize him for exploiting the victims and for what Michael did. Michael is missing and presumed dead.
