Grappler Baki (1994) on Netflix

Plot summary

Baki Hanma joins the field of a karate championship with nothing like a reputation behind him. Nobody in the draw has heard his name. No one there can say where he trained or how he came by the style he fights with, and karate clearly suits him. Seeded far down the rankings, he puts the men across from him down with a single punch each, and his wins carry him through round after round. His next opponent is Kosho Shinogi, a fighter whose matches are known for ending with him tearing out an opponent's jugular vein. The tournament's rules allow almost anything.
