Plot summary
The magical lyre holds devastating power in the right hands, and every master of the martial arts clans wants to possess it. Xuemei's family was destroyed when her father's old classmate, near death, begged him to take the instrument and flee, and she alone escaped with it. Lun Lin stands to inherit the Tianhu Escort Agency, and the promotion would let his father, Teng Lin, retire. To prove the agency the best, Lun Lin accepts the mission of delivering the lyre to Hou Xeng, which others avoided for fear of their lives. His master arrives and warns him about the lyre and the deaths that follow those who chase it.
