Plot summary
A reclusive millionaire dog named J.P. Cubish has promised his fortune to whoever can amuse him, and salesman Daffy Duck answers the call. Daffy becomes his jester, taking pies in the face, and when Cubish dies laughing, the fortune passes to him. The will attaches a condition: the money must fund a public service, and Daffy must keep his business dealings honest. If he breaks that creed, Cubish's ghost will take the millions back. Daffy starts an exorcism business and brings in Porky Pig, Sylvester and Bugs Bunny.

- Daffy Duck's Quackbusters was the final theatrical production in which Mel Blanc provided the voices of the various Looney Tunes characters before his death in July 1989.
- Quackbusters used pre-existing music from older Looney Tunes shorts composed by Carl Stalling, Milt Franklyn and William Lava for both the new animation and classic footage. It was one of the two Warner Bros. compilation films not composed by Robert J. Walsh, the other being 1979's The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie, composed by Dean Elliott.
